INSTRUCTORS

giulio

Giulio Sciorio

Giulio Sciorio is a minimalist photographer, who creates content for small screens in a social world. His photographic roots began in film, so he likes to create as much of his work as possible in camera. In a digital world this authentic way of creating gets the work online fast. Giulio is a Panasonic Lumix Luminary.

mike

Mike Moats

Mike Moats is a pro macro photographer from Michigan. His articles and images have been published in Outdoor Photographer, Nature Photographer, Photolife and more. Mike’s images have won local and international awards. A member of Tamron’s Image Masters, and was a member of the Fuji Pro Talent Team.

shari

Shari Miller

Shari is a photographer with a passion for seeking beauty in our ordinary, everyday lives. Through her work, she invites people to see more of the abundant beauty that exists in the world, in others, and within themselves. She lives in Polk City, Iowa with her husband and two sons and can often be found photographing shells, feathers, leaves, sand, acorns, wildflowers and other small bits of nature around a lake not far from her home.

anne

Anne Belmont

As a flower photographer, Anne’s greatest passion lies in seeing and capturing the beauty of flowers and other botanical subjects up-close. It is the small, often unnoticed details that draw her to her subjects — the patterns, textures, curves and unique personality of each subject. With a lifelong involvement in the arts and a deep love of nature, photography became the perfect way for her to share her vision of the natural world with others.

steve

Steve Neilson

Steve Neilson is a nationally renowned photographer and speaker, teaching new photographers and amateurs basics in camera knowledge and Photoshop at numerous seminars around the country. Steve’s charismatic personality comes alive at weddings, always making full bridal parties and families feel at ease.

nick

Nick Sinnott

Nick Sinnott is an owner/director of Richard Stromberg’s Chicago Photography Classes.  Nick has created and taught photography classes for 5 years including over 1,000 hours of Lightroom instruction.  In addition to teaching photography, Nick especially enjoys photographing architecture and sports as well as creating photographic illusions with liquid.

jim

Jim Welninski

Despite appearances to the contrary, Jim is busy trying to convince the rest of the world that he really does know what he’s doing. An international award winning fine art photographer based in Chicago, he also teaches Black and White Artistry, Advanced Composition, and Advanced Photoshop Post at Richard Stromberg’s Chicago Photography Classes.

scott

Scott Lawrence

Scott launched a successful headshot photography business after years of the corporate grind. A believer in the power of a great first impression, Scott’s images help clients show their best selves to the world. He loves learning from and sharing with the photography community, geeking out about technical tricks, savvy marketing and being a dad.

michael-hudson

Michael Hudson

Michael has been a professional freelance photographer since 1989. He’s been coming to Acadia every autumn since 2006 to photograph the landscape. In 2014, Michael published an eBook, The Photographer’s Guide to Acadia, and in 2015, he published a coffee table book, Under October Skies (Autumn in Acadia).
