Colleen Miniuk-Sperry is a full-time outdoor photographer and the author/photographer of the award-winning guidebook, Photographing Acadia National Park after serving three terms as an Artist-in-Residence in Acadia National Park. Colleen also offers highly-acclaimed photography workshops and women’s photography retreats.

Bryan Peterson        

Bryan has been a successful commercial photographer for over 35 years whose clients include American Express, Kodak, UPS, Phillips and Citibank. Within the photographic community he is best known as the photographer/writer of nine best-selling books, including Understanding Exposure.

Nick Page      

Nick is a co-host of Tripod, the Improve Photography landscape photography podcast. He specializes in advanced Photoshop techniques for landscape photography and leads tours to landscape destinations around the world.

Chris Nicholson        

Knowing Acadia better than any other park, Chris Nicholson is a photographer, instructor and writer based in the northeast, is author of Photographing National Parks, and is a workshop organizer and leader with the National Parks at Night program.

Kathleen Clemons        

Kathleen Clemons is an award-winning photographer, instructor, speaker and workshop leader from the coast of Maine. Primarily a nature photographer, Kathleen is known for her creative use of natural light and unique compositions. Lensbaby has named her the “Georgia O’ Keeffe of Lensbaby Flower Photography” and her work is represented worldwide by Corbis, Getty Images and several other agencies.

Erin Babnik          

Erin Babnik is a full-time adventure landscape photographer, photography educator, writer and speaker. She is known for her ambitious and expressive style of photography and for her adventurous approach in the field. Her work has appeared in well over a hundred publications, including books, magazines, and travel guides.

Thomas Heaton is a U.K. landscape photographer known for his stunning imagery and how he shares his photography adventures through his popular YouTube channel.

Juan Pons      

Juan is a nature and wildlife photographer, and a supporter of wildlife and natural habitat conservation. He lives just outside Acadia in Bangor, Maine and leads multiple workshops every year. Juan has been featured in Sierra Magazine, Nature Conservancy, Audubon Magazine and many other publications.

Michael Hudson    

Michael has been a professional freelance photographer since 1989. He’s been coming to Acadia every autumn since 2006 to photograph the landscape. In 2014, Michael published an eBook, The Photographer’s Guide to Acadia, and in 2015, he published a coffee table book, Under October Skies (Autumn in Acadia).

Learn from your photography heroes

Learn from our 12 instructors everything there is to know about landscape photography! Put what you learn to the test during excursions and get hands-on attention during classes.

Practice what you’ve learned

Join instructors on excursions around the park, including during sunrise and sunset! Partake in four different excursions per day at 30 different locations, each limited to 10 participants.

An intimate, friendly environment

The conference is limited to just 100 participants, meaning you get hands-on experience and time with our instructors throughout the week.

Critique sessions

Ask questions about techniques and get feedback from instructors on photographs that you’ve taken throughout the conference.

Individual post-processing help

Get assistance from our instructors on how to perfect your landscape imagery throughout the conference, using tools such as Lightroom and Photoshop.
